§ 8010. Identification and labeling of artisanry produced outside of Puerto Rico

Every natural or juridical person who on his own, or through an agent, representative, distributor, employee or any other person, introduces, advertises, exhibits or sells, products, articles, goods or artisanry works in Puerto Rico that are manufactured, produced or processed outside of Puerto Rico, shall engrave, print, write, fix or label on each one of said products, articles, goods or works, their place of origin, or source, in a clearly visible and legible manner.

Any natural or juridical person who violates these provisions, shall incur a misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be sanctioned with a fine of up to five hundred dollars ($500) for each violation incurred.
