§ 662. Grazing

Every person who turns out, keeps or grazes an animal knowing it to be infected with or laboring under any infectious or contagious disease, on any roadside or field, where it can come in contact with any other animal not so infected, shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine of not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200), or imprisonment for one month in jail, or to both fine and imprisonment.
