Section 141-70-5 - Proficiency trainingThe GBPT is not authorized to perform demonstrations for the general public without sufficient proficiency training. Proficiency training is authorized as follows:
a. Upon completion of a scheduled UTA or MUTA (after normal duty hours) provided: (1) Proficiency training is listed on the training schedule as an authorized after-duty activity.(2) Military aircraft is on a normal flight mission and its normal mission is not specifically designated as support for GBPT proficiency training as outlined in AR 95 series regulations. Aircraft is not to be used if these activities adversely affect the training mission or flying hours of the aircraft crew.(3) Proficiency training is performed on an approved military drop zone.b. After normal duty hours while members of GBPT are in AT status provided the requirements of paragraph 5a (1), (2) and (3) above are met.c. Prior to an approved demonstration The GBPT may perform proficiency training on an approved military drop zone provided:(1) Requests for ADSW (nonpay status) Orders are submitted by the Cdr, 2/19th SFGA to the Plans, Operation Military Support Officer (POMSO) so as to arrive no less than five days prior to the training, thus allowing the DCSPER sufficient time to publish Orders prior to the exercise(2) The provisions of paragraph 5a (2) and (3) are met.(3) Commander, 2/19th SFGA or his designated representative is required to immediately notify the Plans, Operation Military Support Officer (POMSO) of nonperformance of ADSW (nonpay status) duty after proficiency training so orders may be revoked.W.
