The holder of a multiple-trip construction equipment permit must ensure that all escort and special traffic handling requirements are in compliance with § 70:03:01:20. Violation of the terms of this permit or safety, size, weight, or traffic violations received during its use may result in revocation of the permit without refund.
If the unit's length exceeds 90 feet overall or if it is wider than 12 feet, it must have an "OVERSIZED LOAD" sign attached to its front and rear. The sign must be at least 7 feet long and 18 inches high. The color of the sign must be black letters on yellow background. At minimum, the sign's lettering must be 10 inches high with a 1.41 inch brush stroke. (See note at the end of this section.)
