At the time of application for a multiple-trip construction equipment permit, the permit user shall designate the counties and period of time to be permitted. The fee for a multiple-trip permit is determined by the number of counties and months designated by the permit user and is based on a charge of $5 a month for each designated county but not more than a total of $20 a month for all of the designated counties, excluding additional overweight fees. The minimum fee for a multiple-trip permit issued under §§ 70:03:01:45.01 to 70:03:01:45.05, inclusive, is $25, excluding additional overweight fees.
Overweight units shall be charged an additional fee based on a charge of 50 cents a month for each designated county for each ton or fraction of a ton that the unit's gross weight is over the weight limits set in § 70:03:01:02.
