High temperature short time pasteurizers shall be equipped with an automatic flow diversion valve, timing pump or device, temperature recorder and holding tube or its equivalent to assure complete pasteurization. Equipment and operation shall meet requirements of and installed in accordance with the 3-A Sanitary Standards and Accepted Practices for the sanitary construction, installation, testing and operation of high-temperature short-time pasteurizers.
