Section 10A:13-5.3 - Job/wage variance considerations
(a) Job/wage variance recommendations and approval or disapproval shall be handled in accordance with 10A:13-5.4 and considerations shall be based upon, but not limited to the following:
1. The operational effectiveness of the correctional facility;
2. The professional or technical job skills required;
3. The job knowledge and abilities required;
4. The projected period of time or season for which the job/wage will be required;
5. Examples of work associated with the job duties; and
6. The continuing need to maintain an existing job/wage variance.
