Section Pas 304.02 - Wire Rope Inspectors(a) The board shall qualify a visual wire rope inspector as referred to in ANSI A.4.1.2, by demonstration of professional competence, education and experience as evidenced by, but not limited to, the following: (1) The applicant has attained a certification or diploma from a wire rope company stating that the applicant is competent to visually inspect wire rope; or(2) The applicant has performed a minimum of 20 visual wire rope inspections and has submitted 2 letters of recommendation that support the applicant's qualifications.(b) The board shall qualify a magnetic rope testing (MRT) wire rope inspector as referred to in ANSI A.4.1, by demonstration of professional competence, education and experience as evidenced by, but not limited to, the following: (1) The applicant is a qualified visual wire rope inspector in the State of New Hampshire;(2) The applicant has submitted evidence of training and experience demonstrating that the applicant is competent to inspect wire rope using MRT equipment; and(3) The applicant has submitted 2 letters of recommendation that support the applicant's qualifications.N.H.
