Section Pas 304.03 - Wire Rope Splicers

(a) The board shall qualify a wire rope splicer by demonstration of professional competence, education and experience as evidenced by, but not limited to the applicant's:

(1) Resume;

(2) Experience with rope wire;

(3) Education by a wire rope manufacturer;

(4) Ability to splice and knowledge of wire rope; and

(5) Certification or diploma from a wire rope company stating the applicant's level of training.
