Section Env-A 1212.05 - Exceptions to Env-A 1212.04

The VOC limits specified in Env-A 1212.04 shall not apply to the following types of coatings and coating operations:

(a) Stencil coatings;

(b) Safety-indicating coatings;

(c) Solid-film lubricants;

(d) Electric-insulating and thermal-conducting coatings;

(e) Magnetic data storage disk coatings; and

(f) Plastic extruded onto metal parts to form a coating.
