Section 123-1-029 - "Mechanical WWTF" or "Mechanical plant"

"Mechanical WWTF" or "Mechanical plant" means a wastewater treatment facility that uses separate treatment units for grit removal, physical settling, biological treatment, clarification, sludge treatment, and disinfection, as applicable, where treatment processes are enhanced by mechanical or electrical devices.
