Section I-1921 - Inspection and Seizure of MachinesA. The division or its duly authorized representative has the right at all times to make an examination of any machine being used to play electronic video bingo. Such right of inspection includes immediate access to all machines and unlimited inspection of all machine parts.B. The division or its duly authorized representative shall be entitled to observe the removal and verify the counting of all monies contained in a machine. The division or its duly authorized representative may remove and physically count the monies contained in a machine after giving the machine owner or his employee, agent, or representative the opportunity to be present during the process.C. If a machine is constructed so that the four mechanical meters required in administrative rule §1911. C cannot be easily viewed and accurately read externally from the front of the machine, the key to the locked area housing the meters must be immediately available on the premises and provided to division personnel upon request.D. The division or its authorized representative may immediately seize and remove any machine or device which is in violation of law or any rule of the division.E. The division may remove a machine or parts from a machine for laboratory testing and analysis. When parts are removed, the division may seal any machine left on the permittee's premises pending the division's investigation. The breaking or removal of the division's seal by anyone without approval may subject the permittee to seizure of the entire machine or machines in addition to other penalties provided for in these rules.La.
