The Directors of the Department of Public Works, Consumer and Regulatory Affairs and the Office of Planning shall be responsible for establishing and ensuring agency compliance with the policies set forth in this chapter; any rules, regulations, and procedures that may be adopted by the respective departments and offices pursuant to this chapter; and any other subsection as may be added.
The Director, Office of Planning, shall coordinate the review of all commercial or mixed-use commercial development proposals of fifty thousand gross square feet (50,000 ft.2 or more as well as proposals involving three (3) acres or more.
The Director, Office of Planning, upon receipt of large tract review requests shall advise the applicant of the prospective coordinated review and request that required documentation be submitted in accordance with § 2301. Upon completion of the technical review, the Director, Office of Planning, shall initiate negotiations with the applicant to implement the spirit and intent of the recommendations.
The Director, Department of Public Works, shall refer to the Director, Office of Planning, all applications for subdivisions of tracts comprising three (3) acres or more, whether or not changes to existing municipal regulations are required; and
The Director, Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, shall refer to the Director, Office of Planning, all requests for multiple building convenants made in connection with development of tracts comprising three (3) acres or more, whether or not changes to existing municipal regulations are required. In addition, the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs shall refer to the Office of Planning all commercial or mixed-use commercial development proposals of fifty thousand gross square feet (50,000 ft.2) or more prior to accepting such proposal(s) for building and/or construction permits.
