Rule 10-B2306 - AGENCY AND PUBLIC NOTICE
2306.1

The Office of Planning shall establish interagency review procedures and ensure that all affected District government agencies and departments are given notice and provided copies of the submissions. The affected agencies and departments shall include the Departments of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, Public Works, Fire Department, Metropolitan Police Department, and the Office of the Corporation Counsel.

2306.2

The Office of Planning shall mail notice of the applications to the following:

(a) The Advisory Neighborhood Commission within which the property in question is located;
(b) To all known citizen groups within the Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC); and
(c) To property owners within two hundred feet (200 ft.) of the perimeter of the property. (Applicant to supply names and addresses of property owners within two hundred feet.).
2306.3

A period of thirty (30) days from the date of dispatch of the notice shall be allowed to receive comments of organizations and persons notified.

2306.4

The Office of Planning shall set up a technical conference between the applicant and affected city agencies to review the submissions and on request, will provide a similar technical briefing to the Advisory Neighborhood Commission(s).

2306.5

Following the technical and neighborhood conferences the Office of Planning shall obtain agency comments and coordinate a draft report, which shall include recommendations concerning the applicant's site plan, circulation proposals, and other materials submitted. Copies of the report shall be submitted to affected District agencies, the applicant and the affected Advisory Neighborhood Commission(s).

2306.6

The Director, Office of Planning shall issue copies of the final technical report and a statement that the process has been completed. Copies of the final report shall be mailed to the applicant, affected Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANCs), citizens and agencies and departments of the District government. The applicant shall contact the Office of Planning to determine if any follow-up actions are required.
