Section 57.117 - Inspection and Report By Executive Director(a) The executive director shall inspect the construction of a levee or other improvement once every 60 days after the construction work has commenced, and if he finds that the work has been done in strict accordance with the contract, the executive director shall certify this fact, and his certificate shall give a full description of the work done up to the date of inspection.(b) If the executive director finds that the work has not been done in strict accordance with the contract, he shall officially certify this fact, and in the certificate he shall state where the contractor has failed to comply with the contract.Amended By Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 248, Sec. 40, eff. 6/18/2003.Amended by Acts 1981, 67th Leg., p. 961, ch. 367, Sec. 1, eff. 6/10/1981 Acts 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff. 8/30/1971.
