Section 265.001 - Municipality With Population of At Least 10,000 and Any County(a) The commissioners court of a county may cooperate with the proper authorities of a municipality with at least 10,000 inhabitants to establish, build, equip, and maintain a hospital in the municipality.(b) The commissioners court may appropriate funds for the hospital that the commissioners court considers appropriate after a joint conference with the municipal authorities.(c) The commissioners court and the municipal authorities shall jointly control the management of the hospital.Tex.
