P.R. Laws tit. 23, § 153c
(a) The Planning Board is hereby directed to modify the territorial boundaries of the municipality of Maunabo by adding to them the California Sector of Barrio Calzada, which belongs to the territorial jurisdiction of the municipality of Patillas.
(b) Once the change herein provided is made, the Planning Board shall notify government and municipal bodies, including the Courts of Justice, of the changes directed by this section, so that they become aware of the same and remit to the agencies concerned a copy of a map containing the new delimitations of the municipalities of Maunabo and Patillas.
(c) Government and municipal bodies are hereby directed to carry out pertinent modifications to the applicable public policy and other provisions of law or regulations, once the Planning Board adopts the corresponding changes.
