In the case of public hospitals and schools owned by the Government of Puerto Rico, the sale of naming rights shall not be allowed. The mechanism to determine the name of public hospitals and schools owned by the Government of Puerto Rico shall be to use the names of illustrious persons from the past or names allusive to the history, geography and culture of Puerto Rico. However, in these cases, the names of persons not deceased may not be used, and to the extent possible, the names of illustrious persons from the past and others relevant in the history, geography and tradition of Puerto Rico, shall be the first choice.
