§ 228b. Prohibitions

It is hereby prohibited to sell naming rights over public facilities to enterprises engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, tobacco, pornographic material, firearms, or to religious or political-partisan entities, or to any enterprise that has been convicted or in which any partner has been convicted in Puerto Rico or any other state or country for the commission of any felony or misdemeanor.

Likewise, no employee or officer of the Government of Puerto Rico or any member of his/her family unit, as said [term] is defined in Act No. 12 of July 24, 1985, known as the “Puerto Rico Government Ethics Act”, may derive any personal benefit whatsoever as part of or in relation to any agreement for the sale of naming rights over a public facility.
