§ 335. License—Suspension, cancellation, etc

The Board may suspend, cancel or revoke the license, after notifying them of charges and holding an administrative hearing, of any histologic technician or histotechnologist who:

(a) Has been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor entailing moral turpitude and it has been shown that the crime for which convicted is substantially related to the qualifications, functions and duties of his or her profession;

(b) has been declared mentally disabled by a competent court;

(c) is addicted to drugs or habitually inebriated

(d) gives any type of false testimony in benefit of a person who has applied for taking the revalidation examination or in any investigation of complaints filed with said Board for violations to the provisions of this chapter or its regulations;

(e) alters or falsifies any document or material with the malicious intent of deceiving the members of the Board in the performance of his or her official duties;

(f) shows manifest incompetence in the exercise of his profession, or

(g) fails to comply with the continuous education and registration requirements provided in §§ 3001 et seq. of Title 24.
