§ 334. License—Denial

The Board may deny the issue of a license to practice the profession of histologic technician or histotechnologist after notifying the interested party and giving the latter the opportunity of being heard, to any person who:

(1) Tries to obtain a license by fraud or deceit.

(2) Fails to meet the requirements established in this chapter for obtaining a license.

(3) Has been declared mentally disabled by a competent court.

(4) Is addicted to drugs or habitually inebriated.

(5) Has been convicted for a felony or misdemeanor entailing moral turpitude and it has been shown that the crime for which convicted is substantially related to the qualifications, functions and duties of the profession of histologic technician or histotechnologist.
