P.R. Laws tit. 12, § 5073
The land of the Punta del Viento Wetland in the municipality of Patillas, which [has] a surface capacity of two hundred fifty-four [point] eighty-one (254.81) cuerdas of extension is hereby designated a Natural Reserve. The buffer zone thereof which shall consist of an [sic] approximately two hundred twenty-nine (229) cuerdas of extension is also designated as part of the Patillas Punta del Viento Wetland Reserve. The latter extends uninterruptedly in a northward direction starting from the Northeast, North and Northwest boundaries of the natural reserve and ends adjacent to the South easement of PR-3 between km. 116.1 and km. 118.4 of said route, excluding existing structures and housing in the zone at the time of approval of this act.
