§ 2515. Liability of the Commonwealth

Every Commonwealth agency that discriminates against an official or employee in contravention of the provisions of this chapter, or that does not comply with the confidentiality standards established herein, shall cause the Commonwealth to be liable for the damages caused to the official or employee, according to the provisions of §§ 3077—3084 of Title 32 known as the “Act on Claims and Suits Against the Commonwealth”.

The Court of First Instance may order the agency to reinstate the official or employee in his/her job or office, in the judgment issued in civil suits filed under the preceding provisions.
