§ 1662. Administrative aspects—Accounting system

(a) The accounting systems shall include all surplus federal property with a purchase price per unit of ten dollars ($10) or more, according to Form SF123, received and distributed. This property shall be recorded on the appropriate control card which shall be filed by the donee.

(b) An Administration serial number which shall appear on the control card shall be assigned to Form SF123. As the property is referred, the amount of the property donated and the use to be given to said property shall be noted on said card, in addition to other information.

(c) After distributing the property, the Administration shall keep the following records:

(1) A record of control cards, including the name of the donee, the purchase price, when it is ten dollars ($10) or more, and the amount of property distributed.

(2) A separate, individual record for property with a purchase price of three thousand dollars ($3,000) or more.

(3) A record of all property transferred or retransferred to donees.
