§ 32. Powers and duties of executive departments continued

Upon the taking effect of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Departments of State, Justice, Treasury, Education, Labor, Public Works, Health, and Agriculture and Commerce shall, insofar as is not incompatible with, and in addition to those assigned to them by the Constitution, have the same powers, functions and duties at present had by the Office of the Executive Secretary and the Departments of Justice, Treasury, Education, Labor, Interior, Health, and Agriculture and Commerce, respectively.
