§ 4232. Demand for payment prior to forfeiture

In order that the legal owner may demand the forfeiture in the first case of § 4231 of this title, he must demand payment of the emphyteuticary, either judicially or through a notary, and should the latter not pay within the thirty (30) days following the demand the right of the owner may be freely exercised.
