(a) Receipts. — The lessor shall give or remit to the lessee a receipt for any cash payment. The lessor shall also furnish him/her, upon request by the lessee, a list of all the charges, payments, and their dates related to the lease contract with a purchase option. The lessor may charge the lessee a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for the second, and each additional statement of account issued by request of the lessee in a period of twelve (12) months.
(b) Title documents. — After all the lease payments needed to acquire the property have been made by the lessee, or the lessee has exercised an early purchase option pursuant to § 2451 of this title, upon the request of the lessee, the lessor shall give, or remit by mail to the lessee at his/her last known address, the instrument or instruments needed to recognize that the lessee is the owner of said property, which the lessee acquired pursuant to the lease contract with a purchase option.
