§ 2184. Penalties

Any person who, with the intention of deceiving or causing financial or any other kind of harm, knowingly and intentionally violates any of the provisions of §§ 2182 and 2183 of this title, shall be guilty of a fourth degree felony and the punishment established in the Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as amended, for such crime shall be applied.

Any person who, due to thoughtlessness and for failing to observe proper care violates any of the provisions of §§ 2182 and 2183 of this title, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and the punishment established in the Penal Code of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, as amended, for such crime shall be applied.
