(a) To declare the third Wednesday of every month of April as “Cooperative Dialogue Day” in the Legislature of Puerto Rico, for the purpose of discussing legislation in matters of cooperative interest, by the Legislative and the Executive Branch and the Puerto Rican Cooperative Movement.
(b) As part of the activities to be carried out on such day, the Legislative Assembly shall hold forums, within its physical facilities, in which the cooperative movement in general, the League of Cooperatives, and the Executive Branch shall discuss strategies, cooperative models of other countries, legislation, and regulations that affect the local cooperative movement.
(c) The Chairs of the Committees related to the cooperative movement in the Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico shall coordinate, on behalf of the Legislative Bodies, the holding of activities and forums to be conducted by virtue of this section in the Legislative Assembly and file a detailed report about such events with the Office of the Secretary of the Senate and the Office of the Clerk of the House of Representatives.
(d) The President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall allocate in their corresponding expense budgets the funds needed for the holding of the activities and forums that are to be conducted by virtue of this section.
