The day of September 23 of each year shall be celebrated through the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico as the “ Grito de Lares Day”.
The Governor of Puerto Rico shall, by proclamation, annually exhort the Puerto Rican people to pay tribute on that date to the memory of those brave Puerto Ricans who gave up their lives and who participated in that glorious deed.
