§ 2102. Authority and powers of the Department of Agriculture

The Department of Agriculture is hereby authorized and empowered to implement this chapter: to oversee its accurate and proper compliance; to issue licenses to authorize and qualify the owners, operators and trainers who operate businesses devoted to the sale, lease or training of watchdogs dedicated to protect industrial, commercial and residential properties, as well as training to detect drugs, narcotics and explosives; and training to provide preventive vigilance and personal protection. When issuing a license, the Department of Agriculture shall verify that the person requesting said license has complied with the corresponding fiscal laws concerning municipal licenses, the State Insurance Fund and the Department of Health.
