§ 1913. Identification of ownership of public and private lands and demarcation of parcels

The Planning Board, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture, shall identify the ownership of the public lands located within the Valley of Yabucoa, in order to expedite the territorial ordination and the approval of the Special Zoning Resolution for the lands to be protected therein.

Government agencies holding title to lands with agricultural potential located within the geographic boundaries of the Valley of Yabucoa, except the School of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Puerto Rico, shall transfer the lands they own under gratuitous title to the Land Authority.

The Secretary of the Department of Agriculture shall identify any parcel or land of high agricultural value that does not belong to Commonwealth and is not devoted to agricultural production so as to encourage the development of specific agricultural projects for said properties in coordination with the owners of said land through the subsidies and incentives that the Department of Agriculture has available for such ends and purposes.
