The words “antigen” and “vaccine” shall, for the purposes of §§ 787—795 of this title, be understood in the sense in which they are defined by the science of bacteriology; by “ Brucella abortus antigen ” shall be understood any bacterial product of an antigen nature prepared for use in the diagnosis of brucellosis (Bang’s disease or contagious abortion), and by “brucellosis (Bang’s disease or contagious abortion) vaccine” shall be understood any bacterial product of a vaccine nature, prepared for use in the immunization of cattle against brucellosis (Bang’s disease or contagious abortion).
