Section 65-2924 - Fingerprinting of applicant for license; use for identification and criminal history record check; fee
(a) As part of an original application for a license as a physical therapist or a certificate as a physical therapy assistant or as part of an original application for reinstatement of a license or certificate or in connection with any investigation of any holder of a license or certificate, the state board of healing arts may require a person to be fingerprinted and submit to a state and national criminal history record check in accordance with section 2, and amendments thereto.
(b)

The state board of healing arts may fix and collect a fee as may be required by the board in an amount necessary to reimburse the board for the cost of fingerprinting and the criminal history record check. Any moneys collected under this subsection shall be deposited in the state treasury and credited to the healing arts fee fund.

(c) This section shall be a part of and supplemental to the physical therapy practice act.
