Section 25-23.5-0.5-2 - Licensing exemption The provisions of this article that require a license to engage in the practice of occupational therapy do not apply to the following:
(1) The practice of occupational therapy by an individual who is practicing occupational therapy as part of a supervised course of study in an educational program approved by the board.(2) The practice of occupational therapy by an occupational therapy assistant who is: (A) licensed under this article; and(B) acting under the supervision of an occupational therapist.Amended by P.L. 197-2011, SEC. 90, eff. 7/1/2011.As added by P.L. 197-2007, SEC.59.
