Section 12-15-33-5 - Term of office(a) This subsection does not apply to a member of the general assembly appointed to the commission under section 3 of this chapter. An appointment to the commission is for a four (4) year term that expires as follows: (1) For a member appointed under section 3(a)(1)(A) through 3(a)(1)(Q) of this chapter, December 31, 2025, and every fourth year thereafter.(2) For a member appointed under section 3(a)(1)(R) through 3(a)(1)(W) of this chapter or under section 3(a)(2) of this chapter, December 31, 2027, and every fourth year thereafter.(b) This subsection applies only to a member of the general assembly appointed to the commission under section 3 of this chapter.
