Section 21-31.1-6 - Denial of permit(a) A permit may be denied for any of the following: (1) The applicant has failed to file a complete permit application or the application contains material false information.(2) The applicant is not qualified by the criteria established by regulation of the director.(3) The applicant has previously had a permit revoked.(4) The applicant has failed to pay the annual fee.(5) The applicant has previously been convicted of a violation of law connected with the practice of veterinary medicine or the distribution of drugs.(b) When a permit is denied, the director will cite the reasons for denial, and the applicant may request a hearing as provided by the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act, chapter 35 of title 42.R.I.
