1972 Notes

This rule is patterned on its federal counterpart as well as on Rule 83, R.I.Super.R.Civ.P. The rule is designed to permit the Superior Court to adopt rules of practice or general orders to fill in the interstices that may exist without the necessity for putting such rules or orders before the Supreme Court for approval. See G.L. 1956 (1969 Reenactment), § 8-6-2 (Supp.1970).
