Providers will create a mechanism for cooperation among themselves and other programs providing services to low-income Oregonians:
To facilitate additional communication between organizations; To coordinate and integrate key functions across program lines; To create a forum for identifying client needs; To collaborate and strategize how best to meet the needs of the client community; To discuss funding needs and potential funding mechanisms; To work with the court system, the legislature, the OSB, local bars, and members of the private bar to create a broad network to develop better access to the justice system. To eliminate the legal and physical separation among the programs in order to minimize the duplication of administrative and other costs of delivering legal services to low-income Oregonians.
