Rule 607 - Method of Payment(a)Assignment by Claimant. If a Claim is allowed, in whole or in part, and prior to payment of the Claim, the Claimant shall execute a written assignment to the Fund of all rights of the Claimant against the Lawyer or the Lawyer's estate to the extent of the reimbursement authorized by the Board. The assignment shall specifically state that the Fund shall have no right to receive anything from the Lawyer or the Lawyer's estate until the Claimant has been reimbursed the full amount of the Claim allowed by the Board based upon the Lawyer's Dishonest Conduct.(b)Prompt Payment. Upon receipt of the executed written assignment from the Claimant, the Board shall promptly pay to the Claimant the amount determined reimbursable under these Rules.
