024-3 Wyo. Code R. § 3-2

Current through April 27, 2019
Section 3-2 - General Concession Information

(a) On May 28, 1992, the State of Wyoming, Department of Commerce, Division of State Parks and Historic Sites (Division) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United States Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BuRec). This MOU permits the Division to assume responsibility of administering lands and facilities at six Wyoming Reclamation Reservoirs. Those six reservoirs are Buffalo Bill, Boysen, Keyhole, Glendo, Guernsey, and Seminoe.

On February 26, 1996, an amendment to the MOU included the Bureau of Reclamation's Interim Concession Management Policy and the Concession Management Guidelines (Amendment to MOU). This amendment controls and supersedes any earlier provisions and agreements.

A supporting information package will be provided upon request to the Division.

(b) The Division applies the requirements outlined in the BuRec MOU to ALL state park concession operations whether or not they are under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Reclamation.
