Section 141-75-8 - Investigations

Investigations will be conducted, when directed by The Adjutant General, into matters or conditions affecting sound management or when an allegation of a serious nature is made. Such allegation may be concerning a commander, a member of the Army National Guard or a situation which has the potential to damage the efficiency or public image of the West Virginia Army National Guard. All investigations will be conducted in an overt manner. The Inspector General will refrain from criminal or intelligence type investigations, and he will avoid covert methods as sometimes employed by agencies making those types of investigations.
