Inspections will not be conducted to duplicate the annual general inspections conducted by Headquarters, First US Army, or audits and technical inspections conducted by the USPFO and the State Maintenance Officer. Units not inspected by First US Army will be inspected by inspection teams organized by The Inspector General. Other inspections will be oriented to special subjects of priority concerned. The Adjutant General shall determine priorities and these may be as limited or as broad in scope as desired. All inspections will be announced in advance to include the date(s) and specific purpose.
