The CRTC is an aggregate match incorporated to determine the most competitive battalion team from WVNG to advance to higher levels of competition. One half of the team's score in the Army Infantry Trophy Match is added to the teams score in the Davis Cup to arrive at the combined aggregate score. Reason for halving the ITM score is so that the ITM is not the primary factor in determining the match winner.
