Section 141-58-13 - Army Infantry Trophy Match (ITM)

The ITM is commonly referred to as the "rattle battle" because of the volume of fire required in a short period of time.

a.Course of Fire - As described in change 1 FORSCOM/TRADOC Supp 1 to AR 350-6. Number of rounds issued to each team, number of targets to engage, bonus points, and time limits are outlined in above reference. Distribution of ammunition is at the discretion of the team captain and/or coach.
b.Weapon, Ammunition, and Uniform - Same as described in paragraph 10.
c.Targets. "E" Silhouette NSN 6920-00-600-6874 at 300 yards

"F" Silhouette NSN 6920-00-610-9086 at 200 and 100 yards.

d.Eligibility. Each battalion size unit of the West Virginia National Guard may enter a team in the match. Each team will consist of six firers, a team captain and a coach. Per change 1, FORSCOM/TRADOC Supp 1 to AR 350-6, all team members allowed on the firing line must finish the two mile run before the 25 minute time limit expires. The composition of the team must be 50% new shooters for Winston P. Wilson matches regardless of the members' status at the WVNG championship.
