Section 126-94-32 - Release of List of High School Students to Military Recruiters

32.1. Pursuant to federal law, 20 U.S.C. § 7908, Armed Forces Recruiter Access to Student sand Student Recruiting Information, and 10 U.S.C. § 503, Enlistments: Recruiting Campaigns; Compilation of Directory Information, all counties are required to provide military recruiters, upon request, with the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of secondary school students unless the parents have advised the county that they do not want their students' information disclosed without prior written consent as set forth in section 25.

32.2. Each county board of education shall provide military recruiters the same access to secondary school students as is provided generally to post-secondary educational institutions or to prospective employers of those students.
