8.2. Schools are encouraged to offer larger portions of food items to meet the needs of older students. 8.3. WVBE Policy 4321.1, Standards for School Nutrition recommends low-fat milk choices and whole grains/breads. A serving of low-fat, low-salt meat/meat alternate choice is also recommended daily. W. Va.
