Section 344-12-025 - Notice of hearings(1) In addition to notice as may otherwise be required by law notice of all hearings shall be given by publishing notice thereof not less than twenty days before the date of the hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in the state.(2) The committee shall maintain a general mailing list and shall place thereon the names and addresses of all persons, firms, corporations, or governmental agencies who make request in writing to be included on such list. Each person, firm, corporation, and governmental agency on such mailing list shall be mailed at the address listed a copy of all rules, regulations, notices, and orders issued by the committee. Except as otherwise provided by law the failure to mail a copy of these to any such person, firm, corporation, or governmental agency shall not affect the validity of any hearing held pursuant to the notice published in accordance with the preceding paragraph or any rule, regulation, or order issued pursuant to such hearing.(3) Except as otherwise provided by law notices of hearing shall state the time and place of the hearing, whether called by the committee on its own motion or at the request of an interested party, naming the party making the request, and shall state briefly and in general terms the subject matter of the hearing and relief sought.Wash.
