Section R765-901-10 - Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities(1) Each coordinator shall: (a) oversee youth apprenticeship program, pre-apprenticeship, and adult apprenticeship expansion for dedicated career and technical education region;(b) coordinate with potential participating employers;(c) understand both registered and non-registered apprenticeship efforts in the area;(d) hold and convene working group meetings for each partnership;(e) prepare marketing materials for featured programs;(f) coordinate student outreach efforts between industry and education partners;(g) apply for funding opportunities where available;(h) learn best practices from other states;(i) facilitate memorandum of understanding discussions for local partnerships;(j) organize training and marketing events;(k) develop strong relationships with education and industry partners; and (1) any other duties as determined by the talent program.(2) Each coordinator shall be responsible for the following interactions with the talent program:(a) monthly calls with the talent program director;(b) monthly group conversations or training sessions with other coordinators;(c) yearly tracking report due at end of fiscal year;(d) collaboration on program replication and expansion;(e) involving the talent program director in prospective partnership discussions;(f) shared marketing effort;(g) using established messaging for program and shared marketing material when applicable; and(h) sharing success stories and events with the center.Utah Admin.
