Section 351.48 - Transporting Residents Outside Facility(a) During transportation of a resident in a vehicle, the resident may not be affixed to any part of the vehicle.(b) During transportation in a vehicle, a resident may not be secured to another resident.(c) Mechanical restraints used during routine transportation in a vehicle, or movement of a resident from the facility to another location outside the facility are not required to be documented as a restraint.37 Tex.
